EACSOF Thematic focus:
• Institution strengthening and capacity building: To ensure that the EACSOF Secretariat and national coordination structures are effective and able to deliver on programmes and ambitions, and that our key constituents and stakeholders are fully on-board..
• Policy engagement with the state, the private sector and other stakeholders• To ensure that the civil society has the best possible capacity for policy analysis, monitoring and evaluation for effective service delivery within and among the citizens and households of East Africa, and across sectors and borders.
The key identified priority areas for EACSOF are:

3.Food Security, Productivity and equitable access to resource control, allocation and distribution.

The Forum is a network of legally-registered Civil Society Organisations as defined in Article 1 of this Constitution, whose major aims are to promote an East African society based on friendship, solidarity and mutual respect; that endeavours to build an independent, self-reliant economy. Read More
